Just when we thought
Like getting up in the morning wasn’t already difficult enough. Hi-Interiors’s concept of comfort and relaxation features loads of built-in gadgetry such as a computer, game console and home-theatre system.
Compactlab, a Swiss creative studio, active in the fields of sound and visual design, presents Compactdecks, a design table integrating three vinyl record turntables. Designed by Oliver Rubli, this concept for all the true vinyl lovers features a pair of speakers, too. The availability, though, is rather limited – only ten of these will ever get to see the light of day (or night, for that matter).
The effect Aldabra’s Kaleydos left on us is hard to describe. This monstruous video wall is made of 50×50 cm modules which are in turn composed of up to 4000 LEDs per square meter each. The diffusers come in different materials and finishes, and any number of modules can be connected, letting you combine soft, hard (dot) or crystal effects on enormous surfaces.
