Martini, a family of luminaires with blown glass lampshades, is the product of a collaboration between Heinrich James Lentz of salad industrial design and Sergio Suchomel of buenavista design. Listed as “coming soon” on salad’s website.
Everything about these lamps, designed by Moritz Böttcher and Sören Henssler of böttcher+henssler, is simple, yet awesome. Playing with the appearance of an archetypal luminaire, Coen lamps have their main pillar and lampshade directly merged, creating a distinctive play of light and shadow, which is reminiscent of butterfly wings.
