IKO seat by Monsieur + Madame Design
by mighty_mouse, Wednesday, December 16th, 2009
Monsieur+Madame Design, a collaboration between two young French designers, Cécile Makowski and Pierre Schwenke, gives us IKO, an unusual seat designed for the Paris based manufacturer, Steiner.

Description from Monsieur+Madame Design:
“Under its sober and carve side, IKO is an innovative seat with a lot of ingenuity. With its special stretch fabric and its design based on a central star, this pouf is melting down under the weight of its host to adapt itself naturally to its shape, like a cocoon shapes to a silhouette.”
