French designer Francois Gustin combines Warren Platner’s dining table and the traditional Parisian bistro furniture to create a minimalist chair, titled Parati.

Info from Francois Gustin:
The chairs and the tables are made of bended steel wires. The sit rest, back rest and table top are made out of steel sheet. I had two main sources of inspiration: first the table from Warren Platner, and second the traditional “bistro” furniture you can find in Paris. The aim was to combine the delicacy and sophistication of Platner table with the simplicity and efficiently of a “bistro” table. In order to combine those two elements I used a minimalistic approach, reducing or skipping everything that wasn’t necesery.

All the furniture have tree feet; the beauty of minimum to provide balance and a rigid geometry. The key point in the design is the proportion and the angle of the bended feet, giving the unity and the personality to the whole set.

Francois is currently searching for a manufacturer for the collection that also includes tables of different sizes.
