Wicklow Hills house by ODOS architects
This 287m2, two storey house, designed by ODOS architects is set at the foot of a steep escarment in Wicklow Hills, Ireland. Its cantilevered living area blends into the environment, leaving the surrounding landscape uninterrupted.

The elevated part of the 2008 Opus Ireland Awards winner is supported by a forest of red columns, which conceptually grows out of the hillside and guards a path under the cantilever to the rear garden. [via]

WHY Ireland? Look at the color of the sky! :) Still, awesome.
Yep. The lightness of the columns, the color… I don’t really get the green bars on the right of the house though. What are they?
woah! the red pillars look unreal
Gorgeous!
