Named after Marquis von Posa, the idealistic hero of the Don Carlos opera by Friedrich Schiller, David Chipperfield’s Posa seating solution series for B&B Italia is designed to provide ultimate comfort, while conveying a feeling of luxury and sophistication.

David Chipperfield got his inspiration from the city of Marbach Am Neckar, Germany, where he recently designed the Museum of Modern Literature and where Friedrich Schiller was born.

The versatile and durable Posa chair collection consists of a dining room armchair, small chair and a sofa. The clean lines of their extremely light frames come covered in fabric or leather.
