While visiting various Swedish furniture manufacturers, Anders Johnsson and Petter Thörne, soon to become Sweden’s Konstfack University graduates, noticed large quantities of waste that was going to be, well, wasted.

The Stockholm based designers decided to put the wood veneer leftovers to a better use. Their Interior Architecture and Furniture Design program final project is titled Mold — sleek, amusing and, in a way, eco-friendly chairs where every piece is unique, due to the different types of wood used to make each unit.
