The micro gardens allow growing plants and herbs inside your home regardless of the lighting conditions via the LED lamp hidden in the upper half of the pots.

    I never said plants don’t need oxygen; however, they don’t actually take in oxygen, they get it from the CO2 from the atmosphere and water in the soil/dirt, which they break down to create tissues/sugars/etc. Oxygen is a byproduct of the breakdown H2O, which is used for the oxidation of food molecules and — yadda yadda yadda

    I’m not sure closing the pots would be such a good idea. As far as I know, plants need oxygen too.

      Actually, plants need carbon dioxide. and I think the only reason one would completely close it is maybe for storage (while not trying to grow anything, of course) or even transport; otherwise, I think the adjustable top was meant to accommodate plant height.
