You’ve seen 2-in-1 chair concepts before, but this is a whole new level of weird. Each member of the Guarda Inside-Out collection by Alberto Villarreal (Zanic), including Silla Guarda, holds a pleasant surprise inside.

The Guarda Inside-Out core, made of red wood, slides out of the white Corian shell, creating a second seat or table. The empty space in the shell can be used as a storage compartment (e.g. newspaper/magazine/book holder). The choice of materials makes the system work both as a unit or as separate elements that relate to each other by their simple form.
