Beresford Hotel by Thomas Jacobsen
Something darker, for a change. Follow the break to see how Thomas Jacobsen’s architecture and design studio breathed new life into a heritage building in Sydney, Australia.

The Beresford Hotel project involved recreating the outer and inner areas of the building by adding a bar, a restaurant and a large garden.

To help you understand the real value of the project, we’ll point out that Thomas Jacobsen’s studio also paid special attention to the not-so-obvious details, designing everything from chairs and tables to olive oil containers, butter dishes and ashtrays. Stay tuned this week to get a chance to have a closer look at the design objects we really liked.

Thanks! Yes you can. Keep in mind, though, that most of the images are not copyright free.
This is wonderful! Can I link your blog in mine?
Yes, finally something darker. I like it, though I don’t like the lower shiny part of the facade.
