SIDM09: PLOD by Srdjan Mandic & Galerija 12+

PLOD (“fruit”) is a built-in wall lamp designed by a young Belgrade native, Srdjan Mandic in cooperation with Galerija 12+. After the light is switched on, the bulbs start growing and appearing from within the wall. Once switched off, the spheres return to their original shape. A control mechanism inside the wall controls the pressure of the air pumps and the lights.
