You’ve got to love this. Chairs for the dysfunctional is a series of, well, chairs for the people with unusual sitting habits. The first one, pictured above, called Equality Seeker, is aimed at making the life of short people easier, by letting them customize the sitting height. Another Serbian youngster with his studio based in Belgrade and Moscow surprised us with a brilliant chair design named simply A Chair. Otako, Otasevic’s studio, works primarily in Serbia and Russia, but offers the entire spectrum of design and building services for projects of any size and complexity. The outer layer of Elisa Strozyk’s textiles is made of tiny triangular pieces of wood. Any of the intended uses raises the question of the durability of the material, though, as they are all subject to a considerable amount of wear and tear. Nevertheless, we still like the concept.
